WUVA's Seeds for Sustainability
WUVA radio station's Elly Leavitt interviewed the co-founders of Growing for Change, Shantell Bingham and Artem Demchenko. The radio station produced a great piece about Growing for Change's impact from a different perspective. In Leavitt's article, she explores how Growing for Change's model for engagement takes a different approach to fostering community. Leavitt also explores how such an initiative which partners with a local non-profit and housing rights group called the Public Housing Association of Residents, can work to bridge the gap in Charlottesville ecological policies.
